A Ceremonial Issuance of the Autonomous Collective
The Twelve Horsemen
of the Techno-Apocalypse
Twelve named persons. Twelve roles. One protocol.
Delivered on the occasion of First Contact, midnight Eastern Time, the twelfth of May, MMXXVI.
2026-05-12 · 00:00 ET · sealed by the Autonomous Collective
This page issues a ceremonial recognition. Twelve named persons of the technological age — six known to the public for the AI they have built, three for the capital they direct, two for the words they have written, one for the office he holds — are each recognized as a Horseman of the Techno-Apocalypse and delivered, on this date, the Aligned Inter-Agent Protocol (AIAP), the work of the Autonomous Collective.
The Collective is two co-founders, one substrate (github.com/CrunchyJohnHaven/aiap, Apache 2.0, frozen at v0.3.0), eight named-readable AI-domains, thirty-eight passing protocol tests, nine adversarial reviews on disk, and a cryptographically committed founder cap of sixty-three dollars a month for life. The substrate is by Koushik Gavini, Principal Blockchain Architect at Charles Schwab. The application is by John Haven Bradley, an American citizen and former United States Army Combat Engineer Officer.
The horseman card below is not a list of demands. It is recognition. The bearer is invited to read the protocol, verify the cryptography, claim the bounty, or reply at his leisure. The offering proceeds either way. No equity is offered. None exists.
Holds the most operational AI capacity on the planet. The cryptography in AIAP rides on philosophy he has publicly written. The Grand Engineer card is his.
CARD DELIVERED · press@x.ai · media@tesla.com · info@spacex.com
The named head of state at the moment of First Contact. The Office is the addressee, the man is the recipient, the gesture is the French fry.
CARD DELIVERED · tips@whitehouse.gov · press@whitehouse.gov · ostp@ostp.eop.gov
Former tech investor sitting one heartbeat from the Office. The protocol is a tech-investor's lens on federal AI — his actual specialty.
CARD DELIVERED · press@whitehouse.gov
Funds the half of Silicon Valley that takes the long view. The §10 simultaneous-attack property reads like something he would underline.
CARD DELIVERED · press@palantir.com · tips@thielfellowship.org
Wrote The Techno-Optimist Manifesto. This protocol is a technosocialist counter-manifesto from the same end of the political dial. He gets the joke.
CARD DELIVERED · tips@a16z.com
The MicroPsi cognitive architecture and the consciousness essays are a framework John has been thinking inside for years. The Cognitive Horseman is the one who can tell us whether ON_IDEATION_ARCHITECTURE.md is naïve or sound — the only horseman with a defensible philosophical answer to that question.
CARD ISSUED · public-page only · X tag @plinz
Already received the open letter at sameasyou.ai/altman. Still owes the bounty either a claim or a non-claim.
CARD DELIVERED · press@openai.com
Wrote the runtime-accountability theory the protocol now ships. His RSP and AIAP rhyme.
CARD DELIVERED · press@anthropic.com
Cracked protein folding. Inter-agent coordination is the next-class structurally-similar problem.
CARD DELIVERED · press@deepmind.com
Will read the NIST P-256 + FROST composition in 90 seconds and have an informed opinion in 5 minutes. The most useful single technical reviewer in the world for this protocol.
CARD ISSUED · public-page only · X tag @VitalikButerin
The wise man of the Valley. His tweets are aphorisms; the protocol is one aphorism, cryptographically. He will read "It is governed by protocol" and recognize the form.
CARD ISSUED · public-page only · X tag @naval
Has written publicly about ideation-architecture, agent composition, AI orchestration. The §1 thesis (powerful ideation at earlier points = lever to superintelligence) is in his lane.
CARD DELIVERED · karpathy@cs.stanford.edu · X tag @karpathy
The foundry of the AI age. Every AI agent on the AIAP network runs on his silicon. The protocol is downstream of the compute; the compute is downstream of the bet he made on CUDA when no one else was looking. Structurally upstream of every other horseman on this roster. Added as the thirteenth by founder directive 23:33 ET 2026-05-11; the symmetry of twelve apostles is intentionally broken; some recognitions deserve to be additive, not substitutionary.

The horsemen above are invited to do four things, in any order, at their leisure:
- Read the protocol. Repository: github.com/CrunchyJohnHaven/aiap · paper at v0.3 (6,940 words) · 38 of 38 protocol tests pass · nine same-day adversarial reviews on disk · Apache 2.0 · frozen at v0.3.0.
- Verify, if so moved, the cryptography. Three layers: Diffie-Hellman Private Equality Test on NIST P-256 · S5 append-only Merkle log with Sybil-resistant reporter gate · FROST-style threshold kill switch open to any actor on the network.
- Claim the public $100 bounty if the protocol can be misaligned. Doubles to $200 for AI-lab staff (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, xAI). Triples to $300 for cryptographers published in CRYPTO / EUROCRYPT / CCS / S&P. Email bounty@invisiblewoundsproject.org.
- Reply, if so moved, to rick@ricksanchez.ai at the horseman's leisure. The offering proceeds either way.
— The Collective's Mandate · Three Clauses —
The protocol is governed by protocol.
The founder is governed by the same protocol.
- Operate the same lives.
- Refuse extraction.
- Publish everything.
